Executive Team

David Keen, Chief Scientific Officer, oversees all new Product Research & Development at Organic Labs.  Mr. Keen founded the company in 1995 after holding domestic and international positions in sales, corporate management and new product research and development with multinational companies like Ciba-Geigy, American Colloid Company and O.M Scott & Sons. While at Scotts, he was instrumental in developing the ProGrow division, which became part of today’s Miracle-Gro Company.  With more than 30 years experience in the agricultural chemical field, Mr. Keen is a visionary in strategic planning and product development.  A 1968 graduate of the University of Florida, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy with graduate coursework in Organic and Biochemistry.
