Organic Laboratories, Inc. has its roots in agricultural product solutions, specifically in the citrus industry. We were the first to introduce phosphite-based fertilizer – now a mainstream product for healthy citrus production – under the product name Phyto-Fos.
Today, we’re proud to maintain this commitment to our nation’s farmers with extensive research and development devoted to identifying earth friendly, pioneering technologies to enhance production and protect crops from disease and pests. Our current research includes products that address citrus canker and citrus greening, as well as mite infestation in the viticulture industry.
Since most of the country’s tropical foliage is grown right here in our home state of Florida, Organic Laboratories also has extensive experience working closely with the ornamental nursery industry on unique product solutions, which include environmentally responsible fungicides and insecticides.
Phyto-Fos™ represents 20+ years of experience in quality potassium phosphite production. Phosphite is water soluble and systemic, more easily absorbed by the plant through the roots and leaves. It is highly mobile within the plant, providing a charge of energy. The increased energy reserve allows the “3 Rs” of plant function: Resist, Recover and Repair to occur at a higher level. Our phosphites are manufactured with only 100% pure, virgin raw materials and made slowly, in small batches, to preserve the integrity of the molecule. Phyto-Fos™ is available in 0-28-26 or the original 0-0-18 formulations.

Fosilica™ 0-20-26 Plus 1% Silica offers two powerful stress fighting ingredients in one package - potassium phosphite and soluble silica. The phosphite charges the plant with energy, increasing plant metabolism and stimulating the plant's built-in self defense system. The soluble silica deposits in layers along the plant's cell wall, which imparts strength and rigidity to the leaf blade. Nutra-Sorb™ 30-0-0 is a controlled release fertilizer based on Urea Triazone technology. The nitrogen in this unique formulation is 40% free urea and 60% slow release Triazone that is both foliar and root absorbable. This is a more efficient form of nitrogen and is resinous so it sticks to the plant. Consequently, the plant stays moist longer, resists leaching and volitization and has a reduced risk of phytotoxicity.

ORGANOCIDE™ 3-in-1 Garden Spray is an EPA-exempt insecticide and fungicide for organic production. Derived from a blend of marine and plant oils, ORGANOCIDE™ 3-in-1 Garden Spray is heavier than petroleum-based oils, making it more effective in suffocating the target insect while at the same time offering greater plant safety. It replaces many “hard” synthetic pesticides, controlling a wide variety of insects, mites, armored and soft scales and certain fungal disease like septoria leaf spot and powdery mildew.
There is a strong synergy between ORGANOCIDE™ 3-in-1 Garden Spray and copper fungicides. When tank mixed with copper, disease control is increased over and above either one used alone. The copper is very soluble in ORGANOCIDE™ 3-in-1 Garden Spray and ORGANOCIDE™ 3-in-1 Garden Spray easily penetrates fungi cell walls carrying copper into the target pathogen. In addition,ORGANOCIDE™ 3-in-1 Garden Spray sticks copper leaf, preventing wash off from rain and giving copper longer disease control.

Nutra-Sorb™ K-Prime is the most advanced foliar potassium on the market. Derived entirely from potassium acetate, K-Prime is an excellent tank mix companion and has minimum risk for burn with its near neutral pH and non-corrosive formula. Its foliar absorption is unmatched, 84% greater than potassium nitrate and 81% greater than potassium thiosulfate.
Texas A&M evaluated various sources of potassium in foliar fertilizer trials for soybeans. Potassium acetate was found to be far superior to all other potassium sources for foliar absorption and having the highest safety and translocation of potassium throughout the plant.

Poly-Plex™ is a formulation of micronutrients required by crops in a readily soluble form. Value-added amino acids assist the plant in using these micronutrients and mitigate the impacts of environmental stresses. Humic acids in the formula may also increase micronutrient availability.
